The start of something new

It’s really weird how relationships can start. I won’t use any real names, but if you’re reading this, it’s more than likely that you can guess who I’m talking about.

 There’s this guy (who I’ll call Kay from here on) who is a really close friend of mine. We have lots of classes together, but we don’t hang out after school…like at all. Then there’s this girl I work with named Emm. Turns out her best friend Dee is gay and he wants to hook up with Kay. Emm gets in contact with me because I’m such good friends with Kay. Sadly, I have to tell her that Kay is completely straight, but I happen to mention that Dee is…really hot, and now it seems like Dee is going after me.

I felt bad for a day or so, even though I have no idea why, but now I’m just really happy that I know something real can happen between us. Plus he’s a really sweet guy from what I can tell. He wants to meet up sometime soon to get coffee or something, so I may just have to take him up on that offer. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what unfolds!
