This is my baby cousin Bastian, born on on Dec. 15. Isn’t he adorable? I mean, look at him…he’s so tiny! It’s going to be kind of weird, seeing as how I’m 20 years older than him. But then again, two of my mom’s cousins are about 18 years younger than she is.
My mom will be flying to Germany in a few months for his baptism. It’s a shame I probably won’t be able to see him for at least a few years because plane tickets are so damn expensive.
The hospital in Bitburg sent out an email to all of the family members, and my mom just forwarded this to me. The letter’s in German, but it’s super cute, so I had to share.
