Peace of mind

I’m four days too late, but it looks like Jeff’s and my idea to blog every day has caught on. I’m looking forward to reading about what goes on in their lives since we don’t get to see each other now that school started again. :)

I should also use this time to post a disclaimer that should’ve been up from day one. This is going to be a place where I keep a journal of both the good and bad things that happen throughout my day. I know that one of my goals for the year is to be more honest with people and tell them how I feel instead of keeping things bottled up, but let’s start with baby steps. I won’t be holding anything back on my blog, because this also serves as a place to vent. I apologize if anything offends you, because I really don’t mean for it to—unless we’re definitely on bad terms and you know it, but the only people I know of who are reading this are my closest friends, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I understand your blog might be your place to vent as well, but if something’s really bothering you to the point of you avoiding me, please, please talk to me about it. Badmouthing and gossiping is so 2009.

With that said, today was very refreshing. I don’t have class on Fridays, so I woke up at the very lazy time of 11:30. I finished re-organizing my room, and it flows a lot better now. My exercise ball I’m using as a chair for my desk is awesome; not only does it keep my back straight, but I can also bounce around on it when I get bored!

After work, Jeff and I headed over to Seth’s for a very unexpected nerd night. Instead of playing video games, we watched one bad movie after another…and it was awesome. I vote we do this more often.

I said I was going to work out after I got home, but I was just too tired. One day off isn’t gonna kill me…right?
