“And today was a day just like any other…”
Jan. 23, 2010
I got to wake up a bit later than usual, but in exchange I had to sit at the post office for over an hour while my sister and I waited to get our passports renewed. We got there at 9:15, and there were four families ahead of us. As it turns out, it apparently takes almost ten minutes per person to get everything done. When we were finally called in, we got done in less than ten minutes, probably due to the fact that we were smart and printed and filled out the necessary forms at home. I finally got to work a little after 11:00, but apparently I hadn’t missed a lot, so that was a relief. I didn’t make a whole lot, but that’s alright. I still made my hourly goal, so that’s all that matters.
Jeff, Seth and I made plans to hang out with Sarah at the mall, but those fell through when she had to leave before we even got there. It’s okay though, because we’re having dinner with her tomorrow! We were already less than a minute away from the mall, so we went anyways. Very uneventful, as usual. On the way back home, we stopped by Starbucks and I got the chance to curb my mocha frap addiction.
Aaron joined the party, and we met him at my house to watch Paprika! It’s definitely still one of my favorite movies. Afterwards, Aaron suggested we go to chatroulette.com and boy, was that a weird experience. Fun…but weird.
