One Month Down, Eleven to Go!
Feb. 1, 2010
It’s been an entire month of blogging! :D
Anywho, I’m SO not a morning person. This whole “waking up at 6:30 so I can be at work at 7:30” thing is so lame. At least I’m getting paid for it though. Speaking of which, I’m not even sure when I get my first check. It’s supposed to be a direct deposit, so I guess we’ll see at the end of the week. I hope it’s soon though, because only working at the Commissary two days of the week is really taking a toll on my bank account.
I worked on a PowerPoint presentation that’s going to be displayed throughout the entire building on TVs, so that was pretty neat. The only downside was that it took up my entire day. By the time 1:00 rolled around, I was just beat. Of course, when I got home I couldn’t fall asleep either.
My night went the same as it always does: dumb conversations between older men who think they’re “in the loop” and talk about modern technology…but they’re so not.
The guild did ICC as usual, but I felt really bad because I died in all of the first three fights. I get the feeling that one of the older members doesn’t like me, either because I’m a frost mage or I’m just not as geared as everyone else, but I’m probably thinking too far into it, and he most likely just doesn’t know me very well. Either way, I don’t care, because I totally snatched up a sweet dagger!
As for now, I need to get to writing my speech for tomorrow. I’ll probably end up just writing it tomorrow morning, but at least I write well under pressure, eh?
