Life Is Good

As I’m sitting here at work, browsing the web because there’s nothing better to do, I can’t help but feel that my life without working at the Commissary is so much better. While I do miss my friends, I don’t miss the drama and stress that came with it, specifically from Sue. My internship at Del Mar is still going well, and I plan to continue it through the summer. The pay isn’t too bad either, considering I only work 17.5 hours a week. My next paycheck is going to be $246.50! :D

I’m hoping I can either make the job full-time or take on a second part-time job, preferably here at Del Mar as well. I especially want to get a job dealing with networking since I’ll be getting my first associate’s degree next week, but I’m not really sure where to start looking for a job in that field that will hire someone my age.

Aside from all of that, life’s pretty good. I’ll be stressing until Tuesday with my last finals, but then it’ll finally summer and I’ll be able to enjoy an entire month of freedom! I keep telling myself that I’ll only be stuck here for another year, and my obsession with finding an awesome apartment in San Antonio keeps me excited for the future. Most importantly, I’m happy with most, if not all, of the decisions I’ve made this year, and I’m happy with the person I’ve become. :)
