A Musical Introduction (January 2011)

So I’ve had this idea in my head that I’d compile a list of my favorite songs by 20 different artists/bands that I love. I knew it would be tough choosing just one song from each, but I never imagined it to be this tough. But here I am, 2 hours later, with my finished list. (Ignore that I squeezed in Imogen Heap twice, I just love her too much…Frou Frou totally counts as a separate artist. ;D)

I really believe you can learn a lot about a person just by listening to the music they love, so think of this as a musical introduction to yours truly. These are all songs that carry deep emotional meaning to me; that give me goosebumps every time I hear them.

I tried to find a nice flow to transition from one genre/emotion to the next, but with so many different styles, it was a bit harder than I expected. So I apologize if some of the songs seem just kinda thrown in there. Also, I’ll probably repeat this every quarter or so just to see how things have changed.
